The Legendary Llangollen Faery Festival 2018

Looking for somewhere a little magical to take the little ones this summer? Why not give them, and yourselves, a treat by visiting The Legendary Llangollen Faery Festival?

We will be attending for the first time, this year and from what I have seen and heard, it promises to be full of fun, with FREE activities, demonstrations, entertainment and lots and lots of artisan stalls, selling items to suit any taste and pocket!

It's held over two days, on the 11th and 12th August, amidst the glorious Dee valley? Tickets are reasonably priced and there are lots of things to do for FREE once you are inside! Click HERE for more information on the Festival, ticket prices, etc.

'Quirky Lou' has a remarkable ability to take mundane items and create something that is both individual and spectacular. She draws her inspiration from various genres including Steampunk, Horror, Fairy Tales and Folklore. A great believer in 'Up-cycling,' she can often be found scouring many a Flea market or Charity shop for items she can use, and loves a good bargain.  I think it's safe to say that she gets very excited about her lucky finds.
When asked about her creative process, she said "It evolves, I rarely plan in any detail. I prefer to sit with everything to hand and just see where it takes me."

I think the results of her organic process, speak for themselves. Here are just a few examples of her creations...
